Tomorrow’s breakfast is ordered tonight
Guests decide their breakfast at 10 pm. Scheduled orders capture that decision with a delivery time, give your kitchen its morning the night before and post the charge to the room folio.
The sale that gets decided at night
Breakfast is not decided at 8 am: it is decided the night before, in bed, with tomorrow’s plan in mind. The business traveler leaving at 7 knows it best: if ordering is easy at that moment, they order; if it means calling early tomorrow and competing with a busy front desk line, they leave without breakfast or eat somewhere else.
Scheduled ordering in Room Order captures the decision when it happens. The guest scans the QR, builds the order and picks tomorrow’s delivery slot; the kitchen sees it on its panel that same night; and the charge posts to the room folio, like any other order. The sale closes at 10 pm instead of being gambled at 8 am.
What changes when the order arrives before the morning
The four pieces of scheduled ordering in Room Order.
The guest picks a delivery slot
On confirming the order, the guest picks a delivery slot your operation can actually meet: 7:00 to 7:15, 7:15 to 7:30. Honest promises instead of “coming right up”.
- Slots defined by the hotel
- Configurable order cutoff
- The order carries time and room
The whole morning, seen the night before
Scheduled orders appear on the panel from the previous night: how many breakfasts, which dishes and for what time. Purchasing and the pass get organized with data, not hunches.
- Tomorrow’s orders visible today
- Production sorted by slot
- A morning without a blind peak
One night that sells twice
The same guest scheduling breakfast carries a late-night craving. A short menu that needs no hot kitchen (bakery, cheese board, drinks) captures today’s craving next to tomorrow’s breakfast.
- A cold night menu as companion
- Two sales in one menu visit
- Zero hot kitchen at dawn
To the room folio, as always
A scheduled order is charged like any other: posted to the stay folio, itemized and timed. Nothing changes in your billing for having sold in advance.
- Charge posted to the folio
- Per-order detail at checkout
- Pay on delivery as an option
The customer is already inside and has already decided. The scheduled order simply puts that decision in writing: with a time, on the kitchen panel and on the room folio.
Scheduled order vs door hanger vs morning call
Three ways to order tomorrow’s breakfast.

Frequently asked questions
What is a scheduled order?
An order confirmed today and delivered at the time the guest picks, within the slots your hotel defines. The star case is breakfast ordered the night before, but the flow works for any consumption with a time attached.
Who defines the delivery slots?
Your hotel. The recommendation is 15 or 20 minute slots your operation can actually meet, with a defined order cutoff so the morning purchase covers demand. An honest slot kept is worth more than an exact-minute promise broken.
Can the guest change or cancel a scheduled order?
Yes, from the same phone and without calling anyone, as long as the order has not entered preparation. The paper hanger on the door has no undo button; this does.
Is it only for breakfast?
No. Breakfast is the most frequent case, but the same flow applies to the anniversary dinner at 8:30 pm, the snacks for the match or the coffee for tomorrow’s meeting. Any order with a time is a scheduled order.
How is a scheduled order charged?
Like any Room Order request: the charge posts to the room folio, itemized and timed, or the guest pays on delivery if your hotel runs that way. Selling in advance does not change how you charge.
